ADG Lowdown with the makers of “Van Diemen's Land”

Join the writer, director and producer of Van Diemen's Land for an exclusive look into the making of the film at the next Australian Directors Guild (ADG) Lowdown session. The session will take place after the screening of the film at Revelation Perth International Film Festival on Sunday July 5, 2009 at the Astor Cinema.
Van Diemen's Land is based on the true story of eight men's daring escape into the unknown and utterly alien bush. Hailing from Ireland, Scotland and England the gang of escaped felons are united by their shared desperation, their terror of being captured and their taste for the possibility of freedom, but the thick bush is unforgiving. Lost, desperate and suffering an endless gnawing hunger the men are driven into increasingly horrific actions.
Van Diemen's Land will be screening on Saturday July 4 and Sunday July, 5, 2009 during Rev. The film's Director Jonathan auf der Heide, Writer Oscar Redding and Producer Maggie Miles will be available to discuss the film over drinks and nibbles with ADG host Renee Webster following the Sunday screening.
